Location. Rising above the white sand shores of Palm Beach, the Westin Aruba Resort stands less than seven kilometers from Oranjestad on the Caribbean island of Aruba. Birdwatchers may wish to visit Bulbali Bird Sanctuary, located across the street from the resort, while golfers may flock to Tierra del Sol Golf Course that lies four kilometers from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Open to gamers 16 hours a day, the 1,115 square meter, Mocroccan themed Casablanca Casino offers blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, Caribbean stud poker, three card poker and slot machines. Rick's Americana Caf� has a bar with video poker machines and features live music, nightly. Cabaret Royale showroom presents dinner shows that feature a three course Cuban cuisine meal, a troupe of Cuban dancers and a live band. Soothing ambience is heightened by subtle earth tones where the on site health and beauty spa offers massage, body wraps, Vichy showers and hair and nail care. The spa's relaxation garden includes a twin bed, thatched roof cabana where guests may receive open air massage. An expansive, air conditioned fitness center contains cardio machines, weight machines, and women's and men's steam rooms. The business center contains two computers with high speed Internet access, and resort shops sell items ranging from jewelry to resort wear. Complimentary supervised activities are provided for children ages 5 12 in an air conditioned clubhouse, on the beach, around the outdoor freeform pool and on a sand playground.
Guestrooms. Guests may book All Inclusive plans or Room Only plans. The 18 story resort features 481 guestrooms with balconies that afford panoramic Caribbean Sea or countryside views. Room amenities include air conditioning, television with U.S. cable channels and wireless Internet access. Bathrooms feature Golden Door Spa toiletries and shower/tub combinations lined with granite.
Expert Tip. A pool concierge provides water spritzing, sunglass cleaning, cold towels, fruit, books, CD players, and CDs to poolside guests.
